KILLA

Obama's Victim

What's all the hub-bub about? Why is this TV ad being banned? Racist attack ad?

I believe it to be a legitimate question. Should we be killing killers?

Why not answer the question?

Police believe there was more than one killer and said they are following up a host of leads and have not ruled out any motive, including whether the slayings might have been gang-related.

"The bottom line is we need the community's help," said Deputy Superintendent Steven Peterson.
Investigators believe all the victims, in their 20s or teens, knew one another. Their bodies were all found on the main level.

The slayings came to light Wednesday afternoon when a woman trying to visit the house found the bodies. There were signs of forced entry, police said.

The killings come at a time of heightened concern in the city about a recent spate of gun violence. The five deaths brought to 15 the number of people who have been shot to death in Chicago in less than a week.
Chicago Mayor Richard Daley said he plans to meet Friday with more than two dozen officials from religious groups, police, schools and social service agencies to talk about what's causing the violence and how to stop it.

WHAT'S WRONG WITH STONERS?

Couple videotaping an 18 month old toddler, forcibly making it smoke a marijuana pipe

Everyone in this video was arrested and charged. And that's something that might not have happened if the suspects had not videotaped their crime.

A Pataskala home was where prosecutors said the alarming event took place.

The tape and the crime were discovered when a camcorder was sold to a Columbus pawn shop. Hard to believe, it's harder to watch.

At first, it appeared a male was smoking marijuana through a pipe and a baby was playing nearby.

Then the unthinkable happens. The male, whom police said was 18-year-old Melvin Blevins, was seen passing the pipe to the baby. You see the 18-month-old little girl resist and video cut to black. But what was recorded next likely will stun you.

16-year-old Angel Dailey, identified by police, was seen holding the little girl. The male was seen placing the pipe in front of the child's mouth. Police believed the videotaped child to be Blevins' niece.

Police arrested 16-year-old Dailey. She was charged with child endangerment and corrupting another with drugs.

Blevins is in custody facing the federal charge of distributing narcotics to a person younger than 21.
Blevins was indicted with four other males -- including Angel's dad, Don Dailey --- on federal drug and weapons charges last month.

In March, Blevins was indicted in a drug bust that police said included more than $3 million in cash and more than a ton of marijuana.

The child is now 2 years old. Police believe the tape was recorded when she was 18 months old. Blevins will appear in federal court Friday to hear his charges and indictment.

Angel Dailey remains in a juvenile-detention center, Newsome reported. Earlier this month, she pleaded not guilty to charges of corrupting and endangering the child.

THEN THERE ARE THESE TWO...

Elizabeth Lyvers and John Robert Gray. The dimwitted Kentucky couple was arrested Sunday for felony child abuse after taking pictures of Lyvers's two-year-old son smoking pot. The pair was nabbed when an employee at the convenience store where Lyvers, 24, and Gray, 20, dropped off their film called cops after seeing the offending images. According to Bardstown police, one photo shows Gray holding a pipe to the child's mouth while an unidentified man--who is being sought--lights the pipe (after his arrest, Gray acknowledged that the device contained marijuana). Lyvers's son--and a one-year-old fathered by Gray--were removed from the couple's home by state child welfare officials. The below mug shots were taken by the Nelson County Sheriff's Department.

So many times we think we are invisible. No one knows who did it. No one will know it was me that sent that email, that made that post, that slandered someone. Even though you post under a name no one recognizes and put in a hotmail or yahoo email address you leave a trail where ever you go on the internet.

Think your boss doesn't know you spend time at your desk looking up porn? Think your wife isn't smart enough to figure out who you are flirting with online? Think you your child is safe online?

Think again.

We just worked a case where a well known person made the mistake most of you have made a time or two.

I SMELL WACO

Since when do we have the right to enter private property and by show of military type force remove over 400 children from their mothers on a warrant based on an anonymous phone call reportedly made by a 16 year old married woman complaining about mistreatment? Has "Sarah" even been identified? Has her 50 year old husband been charged with any crime?

I watched the situation developing around the recent government intervention into the alleged abuse of children belonging to the breakaway Mormon sect led by the Texas nutcase Warren Jeffs with growing interest.

I don't defend the teachings and practices of these religious extremists, nor do I condone the bizarre treatment of their children; however, this episode looks strangely like Act II of the Waco debacle.

Is not the very foundation of this country based on religious freedom? "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof." Seems to me an overzealous government skipped the "free exercise thereof" part of the First Amendment rights of a whole lot of people in Texas.

What about parental rights? Where are the parental rights of the women whose children have been kidnapped by the Texas authorities? And since when do you have the authority to imprison a pregnant women because you suspect she may be the victim of a crime.

If you condone the heavy-handed treatment of this religious sect by the government, you must ask yourself what the government should do about the children of practitioners of voodoo, and San-teria, and others who have a direct conflict with Christian beliefs with their obvious sacrifices and allegiances to Satan. What about Judaism and Islam, where children's genitalia are ceremoniously surgically altered by the practice of circumcision, for both male and female? Should the government step in and be the advocate of those "abused" children?

Religious freedom doesn't mean it's all right and sanctioned by the government. It means that regardless of how foreign and distasteful someone's religious ideas are, they must be tolerated. The alternative is to have no religion, or government-sanctioned religion. Think about it, is this where we are headed in our push to a one world government?

If the same criminal charges (the sexual abuse of children) were leveled against a member of a Catholic Church as are levied against the individual in Texas, would the government take all of the children of the congregation into protective custody? I think not. What about a Hassidic community? There are gypsies in South Carolina called the Travelers have for generations basically auctioning off their daughters to sect members for marriage. Seventh Day Adventists for excusing incest and child rape. Where are the tanks and busses for these children whose parents participate in the congregation?

And let's not discuss the children growing up in drug infested communities and poor homes with single parents, whose enrollment in the local school system places their very lives in danger due to the gang influence. Let's not discuss how the country's infant mortality rate is higher than some third world counties.

The laws regarding any criminal conduct are pretty straightforward. There has to be a victim, there has to be an investigation, there has to be a charge, and finally a trial based on facts and findings, and a just punishment. Or I guess you could just round 'em up and burn the place down.

FOLLOW THE MONEY

WrightprostitutionIt just dawned on me that there seems to be no other Legislator awaiting the same fate as Thomas Wright. Obtaining property by false pretenses that is, Felonies, prison time, humiliation, punishment and ruination. Where are all the others that, like Wright, like Ballance, like so many others that have whored themselves out to the salesman with the fat sack full of goodies?

Had Wright taken the stand and said, "I told a lobbyist I needed money to keep me afloat for a month or so while I try to put together some local investors on a project I'm working on. And he gave me $5,000." Not that the lobbyist could care less what the money was for, they just want to know how to hand the money over without being caught and better yet, how they can deduct it. Hummmm how about a non-profit foundation?

I am surprised it took me so long to figure this out. Of course Wright went to the local lobby weasel, who hooked him up with his pal at Budweiser or AT&T or some pharmaPIG to "donate" a handful into Wright's pocket so that when needed Mr. Wright can be expected to be a friend. Reminds me of the Godfather.

And of course it is the Godfather, it's organized crime robbing taxpayers of money and power. If the lobbyist have the power then the citizens are second fiddle but they don't know this because that big shiny $25,000 piece of pork that landed in the lap of Boss Hog of Mayberry, nope because of that they will overlook the $2.4 million in semi-secret giveaways, incentives, DOT/party favors, inclusions, exclusions and such handed to the civic center, developer, restaurateur, Hollywood producer, hotel chain, manufacturer, and or labor group that feeds their friends and not their district.

I've seen accounts of prostitution arrests when the John goes free. It's the whore that goes to jail, the pimp and the money man always walk. Thomas must have been on someone shit list.

I'll bet that when all this took place, around first of 2002, is exactly the same time that Wright was about to have his own personal house of cards collapse. He was panicking a year earlier and went to Senator RC Soles of Columbus County for a bailout. Soles was known for his, um, generosity and helped out and saved Wright's house from being auctioned on the courthouse steps. If memory serves me right Thomas was unable to accommodate Soles' terms and Soles briefly ended up with Thomas Wright's mother's house.

In 1998, when a family home in Wilmington was about to be foreclosed upon, Wright asked for help. The home was owned by his mother, who had recently died, and the children couldn't agree over settling the estate, according to Soles, a Democrat and longtime friend.

Soles said he bought the house, believing it was a good business deal but also a favor for a friend. Three years later, Soles wanted to sell, but Wright wasn't ready to buy it back, Soles said.

"I wanted to move it," Soles said.

So Soles started to put it on the market, and Wright got a loan to buy the house. More foreclosure proceedings eventually followed before the house was sold at auction. from the N&O

Soles bought the house on July 8, 1998 for $80,000. On March 5, 2001 he sold it to Thomas Wright's wife, Joyce for $128,000. When the house was sold at auction 3 years later in 2004, the it sold for $79,500. A loss of nearly $50,000. Six months later the house sold again for $81,000. A comparable in the neighborhood would show that the house's value in 2001 would not have been much more than what it sold to Soles for in 1998. When Soles sold it back he made a profit of $48,000, a return on investment of 62% over a 2 and a half year period. What was the reason for the increase in value then? And how was it that the home could have appraised so high. Certainly the bank didn't loan Wright 150% of the value. Is this where Wright learned about taking a second on the added on surcharge that was placed on the Lofton building that was to be the 1898 museum?

It would have been during this period that Wright would have been carrying over $500,000 in debt - three houses. Assuming his mortgage rate might have been 8% and that the property would have been leveraged to the max, that would mean his monthly payments would have been roughly $3,700 a month not including taxes and insurance until the Dock Street house sold in foreclosure in 2004. Just about the same time Wright began screwing his friend Dan Gottovi, Wayne Lofton, the banks, credit union, etc when everything around him began to collapse. By this time he was way in over his head.

Like they say, hell is paved with good intentions and contributions from Hugo Neu....

USUAL SUSPECTS

Cr330natedavis
Nate Davis, is a loser. Both of them. That's right father and son have nothing but trouble follow them where ever they go. But like so many of these losers we see in and out of the courthouse they all have a story of being entrapped, or wrongfully accused. They all say they are all innocent. Some of these losers play the race card, some talk about how poverty put them in the vulnerable position that "made" them do the dirty deed. Others will say,"Everyone else does it, why not arrest them?" Most of them are wrong, way wrong. Just a bunch of liars tainting jury pools all over the nation to the reality of what may be happening to a few of the "usual suspects."

Recently the New Hanover County Sheriff's Vice and Narcotics Unit announced the seizure of 1,000 small packets of heroin and the arrest of two females, Nate Davis' sister Shanita Davis (by all accounts a responsible and dedicated worker as well as an accomplished community citizen, seriously) and a white girl from the affluent resort community of Whispering Pines. I mention white girl because 19 year old Porsche Maher is the only thing "unusual" about this case. Well it's not unusual that a rich white girl falls for some tough street hood, totally pissing off her country club parents, no that's not unusual. Neither is a girl with a privileged background with a drug problem. Case in point, the story of a Cape Fear Academy graduate, UNCW honors graduate and teacher who discovered heroin and was found dead at a hotel known for prostitution and drug addicts. Her parents tried everything to help their baby girl and so too has the family of Porsche. No, unfortunately this is not "unusual" in america today. What is unusual in this case is that the teenage Miss Moore County is a witness to a very disturbing trend among lazy law enforcement officers. Bounty hunting. Drug and vice units so hell bent on stealing away "the criminal's" property that they fail to abide by the policies and procedures in a business where one slip up can cost a conviction at the least and at the worst cause an innocent death.

A couple of years ago a member of the New Hanover County Narc Unit sat shotgun in a TransAm as it sped away from other deputies after a drug buy. The TransAm hit speeds over 100 miles per hour thru the middle of town ultimate crashing into a church off of Shipyard Blvd. catching the church on fire and almost killing the undercover agent and driver. There was never any public mention of the passenger.

Just the other day another pursuit took place when deputies with the New Hanover County Narc Unit attempted to stop Nate Davis Jr. after a drug buy. Again the driver sped off and again an undercover agent was onboard as a passenger. The car was abandoned, and the driver, Nate ran off. No mention of the passenger.

Captain Bobby Blackmon, who up until yesterday, headed up the Vice and Narcotics Unit within the New Hanover County Sheriff's Office. There will be no public release explaining his demotion and transfer due to laws protecting personnel matters (unless the release of such disciplinary action will regain the public's trust in the sheriff's office) so we will more than likely not hear an official reason as to the sudden change in leadership because the public won't know anything about it, catch 22. But it looks like someone screwed-up. Screwed up bad too. Bad enough for the sheriff to play musical chairs.

So Nate is on the run. Hiding out where he can. Heart beating like a fox being chased by the hounds. He has no idea that he might not be as wanted as he thinks. If caught there will be a trial. That is if he isn't stuck with a million dollar bond and a two year wait for a court date. If he is, the 23 year old career Felon might just take a plea (as 85% will) and no one will be any wiser to what took place that day because there will be no trial. But if things were done dirty to grab him on Oleander Drive and rules were broken, laws bent and lil miss Moore County is brought into the mix with a Don Stricklandesque band of defense attorneys popping open briefcases stuffed with depositions of a long history of violations, this could get ugly really quick for the Sheriff and all those around him winking away his sins.

There is much more to this and we are just begining this investigation into the world of the "usual suspects."

Obama's Voice of God Roars

Say what you will, but this is the spiritual ear to the next President of the United States, channeling the voice of God into Obama's ear. The Rev. Wright has a world audience now, thousands of times greater than before. Wright retired last month, these sermons were recorded many years ago and yet have just recently taken the media's attention.

To my great disappointment Obama attempted to excuse his pastor's lunacy in the lap of his elderly white grandmother when he said, "I can no more disown him than I can my white grandmother – a woman who helped raise me, a woman who sacrificed again and again for me, a woman who loves me as much as she loves anything in this world, but a woman who once confessed her fear of black men who passed by her on the street, and who on more than one occasion has uttered racial or ethnic stereotypes that made me cringe." Obama your white grandmother isn't a pastor of a church, a messenger of God, she is a woman who said things in the privacy of her own home as conversation, not as an edict from God to thousands of spiritual followers.

There are times when those of us who pontificate try on different truths as some women try on shoes, we want to know the truth and we can't really take a hold of it until we wrestle with it a bit. Call it flip flopping, call it liberal thought, all I know is that's how I do it. So I can see thinking about the ideas expressed by Wright and slip it on as one would a garish suit, look at myself in the mirror to study if this look is really me. But then again that's me. The Rev. Wright, you would think, had time to study his words prior to preaching them in his sermons and yet proudly spoke them to his impressionable flock.

Certainly no crime has been committed, but when a nation is depending on trust to see to it laws are obeyed and lives have value then this sort of message is tender wood begging for a match. A majority of our murders are happening literally in the middle of our streets and yet no one saw anything. No snitching and proud of it. Why won't they talk? Are they afraid of the killer? Maybe, perhaps. I suspect their biggest reason for not "snitching" is a lack of trust and a cultural rationalization spread about the alleged disparity between the treatment of white offenders in white collar crime versus the world of drug dealing and the harsh punishment doled out to those who break unwritten laws of gangsters.

It is the harboring of this secret segmented society that borders on racism and certainly will not be tolerated by the real people who run things.

You think God damned America? You ain't seen the half of it brother. Stay tuned, it's in the last chapter of the big Book.

SKY'S THE LIMIT

SHERIFF WANTS TO OWN HELICOPTER

Nhsohelicopter
The Sheriff rejected joining SABLE, a multi-county partnership that shares in the cost of operating a helicopter that was given for free by the feds because he said it was a waste of money. "This department can't afford - and probably doesn't need - to share a helicopter with other law-enforcement agencies." Then a local businessman Scott Gerow offered the use of his helicopter for free, all the county would have to do is pay for the gas of operating the Robinson R44 Raven helicopter which Sheriff Causey claims it to cost $72.60 per hour to operate which is much less than the manufacturers estimate of $174.16 per hour. Apparently Scott Gerow is paying the estimated $11,000 in insurance on the aircraft himself. The county isn't. Perhaps to help out with the high overhead the Sheriff has given Gerow a full time job as a $48,000/year Lieutenant. There is an estimated $36,000 in interest payments and $11,000 a year in insurance. In Gerow's spare time he is enrolled in special classes at CFCC so that he can complete his BLET (basic law enforcement training) . Gerow has several rental properties and owns a landscaping firm as well as a residential construction development company. In fact this isn't his first business dealings with the county. In 2001 his company Green with Envy was awarded a landscaping maintenance contract for county properties including the jail annex. The 2 year contract amount was for $181,969.20.

Even though Causey estimates only using Gerow's Port City Helicopter services to fly the bird roughly only 20 hours since he has had the agreement with Gerow, Causey feels the need to pony up taxpayer money to the tune of over $600,000 to buy his own egg beater.

Sheriff Causey claims that the purchase money is not tax money but grant money (which over $200k is coming from the feds and of course THAT MONEY IS TAX MONEY) and from drug seizures and forfeitures. Sheriff Sid Causey says "the helicopter is especially useful in the county's Project Lifesaver Program. " The program provides tracking bracelets for Alzheimer's patients. Unfortunately the way the drug forfeiture laws are the money can only be used for drug enforcement. If he were to use drug money for anything other than that it could be misappropriation of funds or embezzlement. So I'm sure he misspoke about using it for finding missing persons without paying for it another way.

I seriously doubt that Sheriff Causey will follow thru with his purchase, at least not now. The Wilmington Star News reported that Causey wants to ask the commssioners for the money on March 10th, the same night the County will sign off on the two and a half million dollar settlement with the estate of Peyton Strickland. Should this deal fail to work out for the sheriff it is questionable as to the status of the future situation regarding Lt. Scott Gerow's generosity. After all it won't be very much longer before people begin to remember Franklin County's helicopter.

A FEW GOOD MEN

Lauterbachdeaththreat_2 A "death threat" was received by a woman who started a myspace webpage dedicated t memorializing the memory of Maria Lauterbach. The threat said "shut up or get cut up" at the end of it's critical post. The rest of the post was typical Marine Corps bullshit. The person(s) posting was (were) also your typical bullshit internet trolls.

Lindell Kay reports in the Jacksonville Daily News that, "Shut up or get cut up," a post made in the name of Ron Parikh appeared on the MySpace memorial for Lance Cpl. Maria Lauterbach on Feb. 5.

Marine Corps officials confirmed that Lance Cpl. Parikh, a personnel clerk currently assigned to a training command in California, was under investigation for several MySpace.com postings.

"Parikh is being investigated by the Criminal Investigation Division for information posted on the Internet about Lance Cpl. Maria Lauterbach," said Capt. Neal Fisher, public affairs director for Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center at Twenty-nine Palms, Calif.

Another Marine, Lance Cpl. Jonathan Cole, is also under investigation for comments he made on the internet, Marine officials said.

Cole is assigned to a unit in the 2nd Marine Division which is based at Camp Lejeune, said Lt. Col. Curtis Hill, public affairs officer for II Marine Expeditionary Force.

The message posted on the myspace memorial site was posted as a threat, no doubt. Either as a sick, sadistic joke or as an attempt at shutting the site down.

im very sorry she lost her life but she doomed herself. she got what she deserved. she tried to ruin laurean's life and force him to leave his wife.

don't listen to a damn thing that bitch may have told you..she wasn't raped. you should be slapped you in the face for talkin about things that should be left alone. im not gonna sit here and watch you talk shit. i will do you like laurean did if you dont take this page off.

alot of girls in the marine corps sleep around..all of them in fact. it's the sluts they are. lauterbach is just like every other slut i've known. she willing slept with this dude in hope he would leave his wife for her and after she got pregnant she thought they were gonna be together but he decided he didn't want the baby and he didn't want to leave his wife for her. she was heartbroken and killed herself and her baby. alot of female marines shouldnt be marines.

shut up or get cut up

semper fi

LCpl Parikh, Ron S.-USMC"

Now there is no evidence that Parikh posted this but whoever did failed at convincing me that he is certain that Maria killed herself and that his friend Cesar Laruean is innocent when he said, "don't listen to a damn thing that bitch may have told you..she wasn't raped. you should be slapped you in the face for talkin about things that should be left alone. im not gonna sit here and watch you talk shit. i will do you like laurean did if you dont take this page off.

Now if Laurean didn't do anything, as he claims, then what is it that he is threatening?

i will do you like laurean did if you dont take this page off.

If I was that woman who had that post show up on her myspace page, I believe I would be a little scared too...until I read the rest of his post...

shut up or get cut up

Just like an idiot to bring a knife to a gun fight. He would get about 2 steps before he had his chest and head opened up with 6 or 7 big holes.

I really am losing faith in our Marines. Where are you finding these killers? Laurean buries his victim in his own backyard when there are 30 square miles of nothing but woodland and swamp with logging roads and trails running thru it like a spider web only half a mile north of him. And now this guy, "shut up before you get cut up..." Gimme a freakin break!

An example of a "Few good men" ... my ass.
